4-Day Weekend

Our 4-day weekend started with a reflection into the past.
2005
2009
Saturday brought Valentine's Day. We took in a comedy show at the Moore Theater and discovered a fabulous restaurant (The Red Fin) at the Hotel Max.

While mom and dad were on their date, Avery spent the afternoon and evening with Grandpa Frank, Grandma Jan, and Thea. As a special surprise they took Avery to the Build a Bear Workshop. Avery built a Hannah Montana bear complete with an outfit, wig, guitar, and even a cellphone.

A visit with great grandma & great grandpa along with trips to Costco and the grocery store filled Sunday. Monday has been reserved as a day to relax around the house, get laundry done, do some yard work and get ready for the short week to come.

Disney Fix

Friday night we had a family date to the PF Chang's and the the Alderwood Mall. MMM...Hot & Sour and Egg Drop Soup, Crispy Green Beans, Pan Fried Shrimp Dumplings, Crab Rangoons, Crispy Honey Shrimp, Mongolian Beef, and Chocolate Cake, Carrot Cake, and Tiramisu Shooters for dessert. We walked off a few calories and did our part to stimulate the economy by making stops at the Lucky Brand Store, Victoria's Secret, and the Sprint Store. While mom and dad shopped for real, Avery did some window shopping of her own at Build a Bear and the Disney Store.

The Disney Store was a prelude to the next night to come. We were invited to a Disney Sing-a-Long at the Edmonds Performing Arts Center on Saturday night. We had pizza dinner with Grandpa Frank and went to see Grandma Jan perform with all the Disney characters. Avery had a blast.
Fun time is over. Back to work and school.(Only a 4-day week for some of us)

Finals

Today was Geometry Final Day. With 60 finals, final reviews, and note sheets to grade any help I can get is greatly appreciated. Tonight Avery scored all of the note sheets and wrote the grades on each final.

Now, if I can get her to mark them right/wrong I will really be set.
