Easter Weekend

Saturday...The first day with a temperature above 60 degrees in the month of April. A great day for a softball game. The Lil Vikings came up a run short but everyone enjoyed their day in the sun.

Then it was off to the Heater's for a great evening of Easter Egg hunting, summer planning, drink making, and food eating.

Easter Sunday came and the nice day of weather went. We still made it to the Kiwanis Easter Egg hunt at Highland with the the rest of the gang. Through the rain and mud Avery filled her basket winning a couple prizes along the way. It was off to grandma and gruncles house for a family BBQ and then it was back to work time.

Vikings Fastpitch

Vikings peewee softball season is underway. Coach Neil, Coach Nic and Coach Jenifer have things under control. We have played each team in the league once and we match up with the other teams very well. The girls seem to be having a good time and we are learning a little bit about the game as we go. Hopefully some warm weather will come our way to make our time outdoors even more enjoyable. Avery is doing a great job in her second season. She is making plays in the field and she is swinging the bat a lot better than last year. Her favorite position to play is pitcher but she has a great attitude no matter what position she is playing.

Spring Break Cruise

Our trip on the Crown Princess was a great vacation with family and friends. We stopped in Grand Cayman, Roatan, Cozumel, and Princess Cays in the Bahamas. We had great weather the entire trip and were able to enjoy all of the sites. Thanks to Brad for bringing the Bar on board and thanks to the kids club for occupying the kids attention from 6-10pm almost every evening. Can't wait for the next opportunity to hit the high seas.
