Softball Jamboree
The Lil' Vikings first chance to play another team was a huge success. Every girl was able to get a hit and Avery hit a HOMERUN in her first at-bat. It was a great day but we have no photos because dad forgot to put the memory card back in the camera. Next game we will get a few action shots. For now all we have is a picture at South Lake Stevens Subway (our team sponsor) prior to the jamboree.

Dad...Can I help?
Tonight Avery asked if she could help with dinner. She dipped the pork cutlets in flour, then egg and then breadcrumbs. We fried them, melted mozzarella on them and topped them with marinara and arugula. Great sandwiches!!

Quinault Beach Resort & Casino
Happy Birthday to Neil! We got a great deal on a two night stay and some of our friends were able to join us for a trip to the Quinault Beach Resort and Casino. Other than Neil being sick most of the time we made the best of our weekend. We made a trip to the beach, played in the casino and lounge, took in a chick flick on the room tv and some even took advange of the hot tub. We fed ourselves primarily on the $1.99 Olympic special breakfast served all day and spiked our free sodas with a spirit of choice from our room supply. To top off the weekend we left a Casino as winners for the first time ever thanks to Shelly's big win on the penny slots and Neil's 5 hour stay at the Blackjack Table. It was a fun time for everyone and we look forward to our next adventure.
