The Great Wolf Lodge

For Avery's birthday this year we took her to Great Wolf Lodge. Avery chose her friend Morgan to bring along with her and everyone had a great time. Every time down the slides the girls love to scream the whole way. We spent all day Sunday and Monday morning in the water. Slides, a wave pool, and water toys all at a constant 84 degree temperature. What more could a kid want?

Look whos turning 8!

Avery turns 8 on Monday. How do the years fly by so quickly? Grammy and Papa, Grandpa, Cory & Thea all came to Avery's softball game on Saturday to see her play. She got two hits and made an outstanding catch in the outfield. Saturday night we fried up some chicken for crispy chicken sandwiches as requested by the birthday girl.

Sunday morning we made breakfast for mom and then it was off to Stuart and Gabi's for Mother's Day/Birthdays BBQ. Great grandpa turns 80 this week while our "little" girl turns 8.

Avery opened a lot of presents. She got enough birthday money to buy herself the coveted Nintendo DS XL on Sunday.

Monday will bring cupcake party at school, a birthday dinner out and then it's Great Wolf Lodge time at the end of the month.
