Spent the weekend camping at Washington Park in Anacortes. What a great deal and perfect camp weekend. We shared a site with friends and were able to explore the beach, park and the city. We played at the park, watched the fisherman bring in their salmon to be checked, went to the Saturday farmers market, bought fresh shrimp right off the boat, and walked the 2 1/8 mile loop around the campground.
We went to the Mariners vs Padres game on Friday night. As you can see it was turn back the clock night to the 1980's. Avery thought it was very funny to see phrases such as "totally awesome", "radical", "tight", "totally tubular"...Each team was decked out in 1980's uniforms and even the Mariner workers were dressed for the occasion. Jason Vargas pitched a shutout and M's were able to score 6 runs enroute to a 6 - 0 shutout.
