Tis the Season

Black Friday turned into Decoration Friday at the Henderson household. Last year amid the snow and rain we went the route of an artificial tree. After one returned tree to Costco due to lights not working we managed to get our newly purchased tree up and decorated. Would the purchase pan out for the following year was the question.

This year we used the day after Thanksgiving to decorate the house. Out of the attic came the tree and we crossed our fingers that everything would work. 5,4,3,2,1...We plugged it in and CRAP! Two branches did not light up. After about 15 minutes of grumbling we found the culprit. One broken light. With that light replaced Avery put the star on top and we finished the rest of decorating could commence.

Ready for the Christmas Season to begin we eventually made our way to Target, Costco, and an unsually quiet dinner out at a Family Favorite...Bob's Burgers and Brew.

Your tree is beautiful! What did you do with all of your furniture?

Thanks! The only thing that we moved was the chair and ottomen. The way Neil took the picture makes it look like there isn't any furniture but the coaches are still there.
