We had great seats down the first base line in section 118. Avery was excited to go to her first game. We arrived about an hour before first pitch to make sure she would get her Ichiro uniform that was being given away on Sunday.
We walked down to the field and took pictures and then we walked around the main concourse to see what was for lunch.
Avery's most memorable moment came just before the first pitch when the relief pitchers made their way to the bullpen. Avery thought it was very funny that some of the players had to wear princess backpacks. Nothing like a little rookie hazing. Not allowed in school school but ok at the professional level.
We left after the 7th inning and as punishment for leaving early Neil somehow forgot his wallet at the stadium. Did some honest person find it and turn it in??? Only time will tell.
